Day 01- Mumbai
Transfer from international airport to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02- Mumbai
Morning excursion to Elephanta Caves. Afternoon halfday visit Gateway of India, Marine Drive, Hanging Gardens and Prince of Wales Museum. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03- Mumbai/Goa
Depart to the airport to catch a flight for Goa . Upon arrival meet and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 - Goa
Day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel
Day 05- Goa / Cochin
Morning flight to Cochin. Visit Mattancherry Palace and St. Francis Church. Overnight in Cochin.
Day 06 - Cochin/Kumarakom (90 Kms)
After breakfast drive to Kumarakom Enjoy the cruise on the backwaters or free at leisure. You may try one of the famous Ayurvedic treatments. Overnight at hotel.
Day 07 - Kumarakom/Periyar (127 Kms)
After breakfast drive to wildlife reserve, Periyar. Enjoy an optional cruise on the lake and spot Indian elephant and wonderful, exotic birds. Overnight in Periyar.
Day 08 - Periyar
Periyar - Morning visit spice plantation. Enjoy trek through jungle. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 - Periyar / Madurai (190 km)
Drive from Periyar to Madurai to witness evening prayers at Meenakshi Temple. Overnight at Madurai.
Day 10 - Madurai / Trichy (142 km).
Drive from Madurai to Trichy. Trichy is situated on the banks of the Cauvery River. Trichy, the fourth largest city in the state was a citadel of the early Cholas, which later fell to the Pallavas. Trichy's most famous landmark is an 83m high rock which is the only outcrop in the otherwise flat land of the city. The most amazing fact about the rock is that it is one of the oldest in the world-approximately 3,800 years, which makes it as old as the rocks of Greenland and older than the Himalayas. Atop of the rock is the Ucchi Pillayar Koil, a temple dedicated to Lord Vinayaka, from where one can enjoy a panoramic view of Trichy. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Trichy.
Day 11 - Trichy
City tour in Trichy including visiting Rock Fort, the view from the fort is spectacular. The Vinayaka temple at the top is reached by climbing a tunnel in rock. Half way up is the Sri Thayumanaswamy Temple, dedicated to Lord Siva. It has a 100-pillar hall and a Vimana covered with gold. On the southern face of the rock are several beautifully carved rock-cut cave temples of the Pallava period. Overnight in Trichy.
Day 12- Trichy/Chennai (325 Kms)
Morning drive to Chennai , Halfday city tour including trip to Dakshin Chitra. Overnight in Chennai.
Day 13 - Chennai / Bangalore /Mysore (139 KMS)
Departure transfer to the Airport to catch a flight for Bangalore, Upon arrival transfer to Mysore. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 14 - Mysore
Morning tour of Mysore. Visit Maharaja Palace, Art Gallery and Chamundi Hill to see Chamundeshwari Temple and Nandi Bull. Overnight at hotel.
Day 15 - Mysore - Hassan (115 kms)
Drive to Hassan via Sravanbelgola, see the thousand year old monolithic statue. Visit famous ruins of Belur and Helebid. Overnight in Hassan.
Day 16 - Hassan- Bangalore (192 KMS)
Drive to Bangalore en route visit Srirangapatna. Overnight stay at the hotel
Day 17- Bangalore
In the morning halfday tour of Bangalore city. Evening transfer for flight to Mumbai. Transfer to international airport to get onward flight.
