Itinerary

Day 1

ARRIVAL DELHI

On arrival in Delhi in the morning, our representative will be there for your welcome and transfer to your already booked hotel in Delhi. The rest of the day is free to relax or for leisure activities.

Day 2

IN DELHI

After Breakfast, proceed for a full day local sightseeing tour of Delhi. Start with a walking tour of old Delhi and take a visit to Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib which was built to commemorate the martyrdom of Guru Teg Bahadur. We will also take a rickshaw ride to explore the markets and alleys of Old Delhi. Later proceed to visit Humayun's tomb, India gate, and government buildings. During the tour, we will also visit Gurdwara Bangla Sahib near Connaught Place and end the tour with a visit to Qutub Minar. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3

DELHI – AMRITSAR (TRAIN)

Early morning, you will be transferred to Delhi railway station to board a train for Amritsar. On arrival, you will be provided pick up and drop to the hotel to relax. Later, drive to the Wagah border for the ceremonial closing of gates between India and Pakistan.
Later, in the evening we will visit the golden temple the central shrine of Sikhism, and one of India's most fabulous monuments. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4

AMRITSAR – JALANDHAR – ANANDPUR – CHANDIGARH

Today, we start early morning for Chandigarh. On the way, we will take a short stop at Jalandhar for breakfast and freshen up. Later, drive to Anandpur via the shrine of Fatehgarh and Ropar. After the visit, commence a drive to Chandigarh for an overnight stay.

Day 5

IN CHANDIGARH

After breakfast, we will take an excursion to Panota Sahib, a noted Gurudwara built in memory of Guru Gobind Singh. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6

CHANDIGARH – PATNA

In the morning, you will be transferred to Chandigarh airport to connect the flight for Patna. the second seat of Sikh authority in the Eastern State of Bihar. On arrival, we will proceed to visit the birthplace of the final Guru, Gobind Singh, and the most important Takht after Amritsar. Later return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7

PATNA – VARANASI (TRAIN)

After breakfast, board the train for Varanasi. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. In the evening enjoy the ‘Ganga Aarti Ceremony at the Ganges, during which worshippers pray near the water by the light of candles and lanterns. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8

VARANASI - AGRA (TRAIN)

Early in the morning, drive to Daswamedh Ghat for a sunrise boat cruise on the Ganges River and catch a glimpse of devotees at the prayer. Return to hotel for breakfast followed by a guided city tour of Varanasi. The city tour takes you to Banaras Hindu University, Golden Temple, and Bharat Mata Temple. In the afternoon, continue your adventure to Sarnath (The Deer Park) where the Buddha preached his first sermon, and Sarnath Museum. After the visit, you will be provided a drop at the Varanasi railway station to board an overnight train for Agra.

Day 9

IN AGRA

Pick up on arrival at Agra railway station followed by drop at hotel. In the afternoon, proceed for half-day sightseeing of Agra. We will visit Agra fort followed by lesser-known monuments like Itmad ud daulah and Ram Bagh. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10

AGRA – DELHI – DEPARTURE

In the early morning proceed for a sunrise tour of the Taj Mahal. Return to hotel for breakfast. Check out the hotel in the afternoon and drive to Delhi. On arrival, you will be provided a drop at the Delhi airport to connect the flight for the onwards journey.

  • If cancelled on 13-7 Days prior to the Start Date, 75% of the full amount or the initial deposit will be forfeited, whichever is higher.
  • If Cancelled within 7 days of the Start date, 100% of the booking amount will be forfeited.
  • Take a food tour in Old Delhi.
  • Take a city tour of Chandigarh and visit Rock garden, Rose Garden, Sukhna Lake, and Le Corbusier Centre.
  • Experience a death and rebirth tour in Varanasi.
