Itinerary

Day 1

BANGALORE – MYSORE

A drive of about 3 ½ hrs reaches you to the royal city Mysore (143kms). En route stop at Srirangapatna, to visit the Dariya Daulat Bagh which was the summer palace of Tipu Sultan. Arrive at your hotel to have a relaxed evening.
Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 2

IN MYSORE

After breakfast visit the majestic royal Mysore Palace with our guide. Built between 1897-1912, by the English Architect, Henry Irwin, the Mysore Palace dominates the skyline of Mysore. Once the seat of the famous Mysore Kingdom is presently converted into a museum.
The evening is free to explore the city at own. Overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 3

MYSORE - BENGALURU

After Breakfast drive back to Bengaluru.

  3. Visit to silk factory: There is something magical about silk. A visit to Mysore silk factory that produces one of the most popular silks of India is a quite learning experience. The wonder of Mysore silk is its softness, lustre and regal look.
  4. Palace illumination: If you are in Mysore on Sundays or during Public or Dasara Celebrations, where 97,000 electric bulbs are used to illuminate it make it worth visiting.
