Itinerary

Day 1

ARRIVAL MUMBAI

On arrival at Mumbai airport, you will be met by our representative who will escort you to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel and rest of the day for relax. In the evening you may explore nearby places on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2

IN MUMBAI

After breakfast, set our for-orientation tour of Mumbai. Visit gateway of India, drive past through prince of Wales Museum, a short stop at Victoria terminus, drive past through Marine drive and Mani Bhawan. Evening is free to explore the city at own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3

MUMBAI - RAJKOT - GIR NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, get on-time transfer to the airport to board a flight to Rajkot. On reaching Rajkot, hit the road to Gir National Park(145 Kms/4.5 hrs), popular for being the last habitat of the endangered Asiatic Lions. On reaching, complete the check-in formalities at your jungle lodge. The evening is free for leisure at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4

IN GIR NATIONAL PARK

Day four is for morning and evening wild safaris in the national park. During the safaris, you spot animal species such as Four-horned Antelope, Sambar, Wild Boar, Chital, Nilgai, Chinkara etc. The national park also boasts of housing as many as 250 species of birds including peregrine falcon, Pallas's fish eagle, Eurasian griffon vulture, Indian white-backed vulture, white-eyed buzzard as well as endangered ones like Saras crane. Enjoy dinner around bonfire. Treat your eyes to the surrounding lush greenery.

Day 5

GIR - SOMNATH - GIR

Enjoy morning jeep safari at Gir national park. After visit, return to hotel for breakfast. Later, drive to Somnath (1 hr/46 kms) to visit Somnath temple followed by leisure time at the beach of Somnath which is very beautiful & a captivating sight to behold. The fresh blue waters, humming waves and the cool sands give you a feeling of having landed in a paradise. The beach has pleasant sands, great sea views, camel and pony rides, coconut stalls and snack places. After visit, drive back to Gir national park for overnight stay.

Day 6

GIR - GONDAL

After breakfast, depart for Gondal (115 kms/2.5 hrs) the city is an erstwhile princely town. On arrival, check-in at your hotel. Later, leave for exploring the popular attractions of Gondal including the Naulakha Palace Museum-housing a collection of royal artifacts, Swaminarayan temple – erected by Shastriji Maharaj and the Ayurvedic pharmacy. Later, leave for a tour of the Maharaja's private grasslands where you can spot Blackbuck and blue bulls roaming freely and later the town’s the bird-rich lakes. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7

GONDAL - DASADA

After breakfast, drive to Dasada(240 kms/5.5 hrs). Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Later in the afternoon, set out for village safari which gives you an opportunity to engage with the communities, observe their unique weaving practices and explore the handicrafts of the region. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8

DASADA - RANN OF KUTCH - DASADA

The day is scheduled for morning and evening game safari into the national park. The reserve is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, because of its varied biosphere. During the safari, you spot animal species such as Wild ass, Indian antelope, blue bull, desert cats, cobra, Indian rat snake, hares, Indian fox, desert fox, hyenas, jackals, etc. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9

DASADA - AHMEDABAD

After breakfast, hit the road to Ahmedabad (96 kms/2.5 hrs). On arrival, complete the check-in formalities at your hotel. The rest of the day is free for leisure activities at your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10

AHMEDABAD DEPARTURE INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT

After breakfast, you will be provided drop to the Ahmedabad airport to connect flight for onwards journey via Delhi or Mumbai.

  4. If Cancelled within 7 days of the Start date, 100% of the booking amount will be forefeited.
